Alda Staff Meeting and Board of Directors with Alda's Albanian Network

CRLDS as the member of  the European Association for Local Democracy - ALDA  have been part of  an informal brainstorming meeting, to find out our understanding of the Albanian landscape, interests and needs relating to the topic of local democracy and citizens participation with aim to be more inclusive process and taking into consideration ALDA’s members and partners needs in Albania. 

The primary objective of this virtual gathering was to establish stronger partnerships, increase visibility, and expand the impact of ALDA’s initiatives in Albania, all while fostering sustainable development, strengthening local governance, and promoting active citizen participation.
 
Together, we can create a stronger foundation for positive change and sustainable growth in the country.
 
 The general secretariat of ALDA, Mrs. Antonella Valmorbido and her senior staff, including the leaders of the Regional Office of ALD in Skopje, ALDA Governing Board members, including the president of this board, Mr. Oriano Otacan, as well as a representative of ALDA's Advisory Board.
 
 On the Albanian side, the percentage of organizations from Albania were members and partners of ALDA.
 
The meeting was inviting and from it, valid issues, topics and proposals were obtained to be included in ALDA's Strategy for Albania, making it more visible and inclusive in our region
